The Pairing of the Senses: Perfume, flowers and food and wine
Teià enjoys a microclimate that allows the cultivation of flowers, ornamental plants and vineyards. On the other hand, the beauty of its environment has favored the presence of perfumery companies, cosmetics and many artists and creators. All of this makes Teià a unique town.
From the valorization and combination of this reality, the Pairing of the Senses was born, which already has a sixth edition and a program of activities to enjoy unique sensory experiences through the scents of perfumes, the colors of flowers and gastronomy based on DO Alella wine and a unique gastronomic offer.

How to arrive
By train:
With integrated ticket. Generalitat R1 suburban line with a stop at Masnou station and connection every 40 minutes with the C15 city bus line, from Monday to Friday from 6.30 am to 22.45 pm, and on weekends until 21.35 pm. See schedules
By bus:
With integrated ticket. C8 Barcelona-Teià bus line with nine daily departures from the city center (Ronda de Sant Pere, 19-21) from Monday to Friday and five expeditions on weekdays (see schedules).
With the C15 urban bus that connects the urban center of Teià with the train station of the R1 del Masnou line, from Monday to Friday from 6.30 am to 22.45 pm, and on weekends until 21.35 pm. See schedules
In private vehicle:
By toll motorway C32 Montgat-Mataró. Leave it at the 86 exit (Alella, El Masnou and Teià), take the BP-5002 road towards Masnou and follow the directions.
On the old National Highway II until the Masnou. Leave it at the 636,3 kilometer and take the Teià road, at the height of the mall.

International Perfumery Competition Mouillette d'Argent
Coinciding with the fourth edition of the Pairing of the Senses, Teià will host the celebration of the IV International Mouillette Silver Perfumery Contest.
It is an annual event aimed at professional perfumers from around the world who want to publicize their creative capacity.
The jury of the award will be chaired by the master perfumer Rosendo Mateu and made up of a group of experts in the world of perfume, design, gastronomy, art and the winners of the 2020 edition.
Awards
There will be three “* Mouillette d'argent” awards: Best Perfume Award - general category, Audience Award and Best Perfume Award - independent perfumery category. The jury will select from all the perfumes sent, 8 perfumes from the general category and 8 perfumes from the freelance category, which will go to the final, and from which the best perfume in each category will be chosen. In addition, these 16 finalist perfumes will be the ones to compete to become, one of them, the winner by voting of the general public.
Awards
The three prizes will be awarded on Saturday 5 June 2021 at the Espai d'Art Ca l'Antiga (Teià) in a public event in the afternoon, where all contestants are invited. The event can be held online if finally situations of state of alarm or restrictions caused by the COVID ‐ 19 pandemic or situations of force majeure so require.
